Kate studied children's book illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her style emphasizes realistic children and anthropomorphic animals, surrounded by whimsical, detailed, magic-infused settings. The samples shown here (which include "spot," square-up, and full-bleed formats) illustrate traditional or already published contemporary children's stories.
